UPPER CAGE FEATURES.

The upper cage rings are made of the same 3/4" Oak plywood as the rest of the structure. The finder boards, the focuser board and the uprights/spider supports are all made of 1/2" solid oak. The NSS logo along with the scope size, focal ratio, serial number and optics manufacturer is on the focuser board of every NSS.

The spider and holder are from Astrosystems. The secondary mirror holder features 4 collimation adjustments that require no tools. Also available from Astrosytems is the Dew Guard Secondary dew heater, installed with the optional electrical package.

The standard focuser is The Moonlight CR1 2" Crayford focuser. An upgrade to the Feather Touch Focuser (pictured) from Starlight Instruments or to the Moonlight CR2 dual speed focuser is also available.
